Frequently asked questions
Can cracked car leather be restored?
Yes. Lightly cracked or crazed leather is cleaned, filled and re-coloured on the original hide — no reupholstery. Only deep or large tears, or badly damaged foam, call for replacement. Send photos and RENNI will assess exactly.
What to do about peeling car leather?
Peeling is the old surface coat lifting off. RENNI strips the flaking coat, preps the surface and sprays a new, even, firmly-bonded leather finish — restoring a smooth, original-looking surface. Very common and fully fixable.
How is faded car leather fixed?
Leather faded by sun and sweat is deep-cleaned, then hand colour-matched to the original tone and re-coloured — the seat returns to its true colour, even and durable. You can also switch to a new colour.
Can scratched car leather be fixed?
Yes. Shallow scratches and scuffs are surface-treated and re-coloured quickly, leaving almost no trace. Deeper cuts need filling and finishing — RENNI handles both.
